How to Make Macaroni Schotel

Macaroni Schotel Recipe

Ingredients:
  • 1½ cups dried elbow macaroni.
  • 100ml milk
  • 1½ cup grated cheddar
  • ½ cup ground beef
  • ½ eating spoon of butter
  • 1 spoon of flour
  • salt to taste (exceptional)
How to make:
  1. First, boiled the dried elbow macaroni.
  2. After the macaroni is boiled, move the macaroni into an empty bowl.
  3. Secondly, heat the butter and mix it with the flour.
  4. After mixing with the flour, pour the milk inside and the grated cheddar.
  5. Stir the milk, cheddar and the mix of the flour and butter until it is boiled.
  6. After the milk is boiled, put inside the macaroni and stir it until it all mixed up.
  7. In about approximately 1 minute, the mixture of macaroni, milk, cheddar, butter and flour, it will be like a soft and mushy. If it’s not soft and mushy, put more cheddar. If it is too soft and mushy, pour a little bit more of the milk.
  8. After that, put inside the ground beef and stir it until the beef is cooked.
  9. Then, try to taste the macaroni dough. If it is tasteless, put some salt to taste it.
  10. Thirdly, move the macaroni dough into a baking tray, pour some shredded cheese on top and put it inside a 175 degree Celsius for 25 minutes.
